Step 1. Press the Windows Key + R together.
Step 2. Enter Control and press OK.
Step 3. Navigate to Programs, then Programs and Features.
Step 4. Search your printer in the list and select the Uninstall option.

Step 2. Enter %temp% in the box and then click OK. This opens the temporary files folder.
Step 3. Select the files in the Folder and click on Delete.
Step 4. Again, reboot the PC.
Step 5. Lastly, install the fresh printers drivers.
Step 1. Visit the HP Printer Driver page.
Step 2. Find your specific printer model and download the latest printer drivers.
Step 3. Run and install the downloaded printer drivers on your computer.
Step 4. As the setup asks you to connect the printer to the PC, plug in the printer USB cable to your computer.
Step 5. Check by printing a document in color and see if the error is resolved. If required, reboot the system again.
As a result of all these performed steps, your printer would no more print in grayscale mode and you can get colorful prints for multiple applications. Thus, resolving printing grayscale problems on HP Printers.

Uninstalling the Printer and Drivers
Step 1. Initially, press Windows Key + R and launch Run.
Step 2. Enter Control in the Run window, and press OK to launch the Control Panel.
Step 3. Navigate to Programs > Programs and Features.
Step 4. Lastly, choose the Printer software and click Uninstall.
Removing the Printer Driver
Step 1. Press the Windows Key + R, enter Control, and then press OK to open the Control Panel.
Step 2. Find Device and Printers in the Control Panel,
Step 3. Click on Printers and Devices option.
Step 4. Choose your printer and then click on Printer Server Properties.
Step 5. Under the Drivers tab, delete all the listed HP printer drivers.
Step 6. Reboot your computer.
Step 7. Press Windows Key + R after the restart process.
Step 8. Enter %temp% and click OK.
Step 9. Select all the files in the temporary folder, and click on Delete.
Reinstalling Printer Drive-
Step 1. Visit the HP printer driver page online.
Step 2. Choose your printer model and download the required drivers.
Step 3. Finally, run the installer file and ensure that you only connect the printer to PC when the setup wizard asks so.
