How do I Connect My Computer to My Lexmark Printer?

I recently bought a Lexmark laser printer for my home as lately I have started working from home and require to go to the printing shop too often to my liking. The only problem is I have lost the instruction manual and CD that came along with it. I am aware of printers but in this case I have no idea on How to proceed further and get it connected to my computer. i have a Windows 7 pc at home. Does anyone here know any trick so that I can connect my Lexmark printer to my computer without the cd?

Connect Lexmark Printer to Computer:

Installing Lexmark printer on Windows 7 -

If you have lost Lexmark printer’s installation CD then go to “www.lexmark.com” and then download the appropriate drivers for the printer.

Installation process -

Step 1: First of all, close all the running applications. After this, press right-click on that file which you have downloaded from Lexmark website.

Step 2: Now a dialog box will open on your desktop where you have to click on the Install button.

Step 3: After this, you have to follow some set of instructions one by one.

Step 4: Just click on the Continue button and then go through Readme files. And then you have to go through the license agreement.

Step 5: Choose a particular language and hit Continue button. Click Agree and then choose your operating system. Again click Continue and then tap on the Install button.

After installation -

  1. To install the software, you have to choose a language from the list of available options. Also, choose your country or nearby region. Hit Continue.
  2.  Once Lexmark printer installation software is complete, you have to register your printer on the internet. To verify if your Lexmark printer is printing properly or not, print a test page.
