How do You Clean a Brother Belt Unit?

Clean a Brother Belt Unit:

Do you wish to know how to clean a loose toner inside the machine? If yes, then you have come to the right place,

Here, you will follow the process of cleaning the paper tray, belt unit, drum unit, and cleaning machine. 

Step 1: First of all, turn off your machine's power switch. 

Step 2: Now, you need to disconnect the telephone line. If possible, then disconnect all the wires and then disconnect the power wire from the power source. 

Step 3: Press the button to open the front cover. 

Step 4: Hold the green candle of the drum unit, luft the drum and then pull it out. 

Step 5: Release the lever on the left of your machine. Raise the front part of your drum unit and pull it completely out of your machine using green handles on your unit. 

Step 6: Hold the handle on your toner cartridge and take it out of your drum unit. After that, repeat this step for all the toner cartridges. 

Step 7: Take a dry lint-free cloth and use it to wipe the loose toner on the top, bottom and side surfaces of the drum unit. 

Step 8: After that, search for the belt unit inside the machine where you usually install the drum unit. Use your hands to hold the green parts of the belt tightly. Lift up the belt and pull it out of your machine. 

Step 9: Take a soft and dry lint-free cloth and use it to clean the spilled or excess toner. 

Step 10: In order to clean the whole belt, use the gear to rotate the belt with cutouts and grooves located at the back right-hand side. Moreover, you need to clean the belt unit if there is spilled toner on it. 

Step 11: Once you are done cleaning the belt unit, clean the inside area of the machine using a dry soft lint-free cloth, particularly in those areas where the toner is spilled. 

Step 12: Rotate the rollers on the front cover and clean them using a cleaning cloth. Use your fingers to push the rollers. 

Step 13: Install the belt unit once again by sliding it until it stops. After that, press the green handle and then make the two green arrows. 

Step 14: Once you are done with that, install the toner cartridges in the drum unit. Hold the handle of every toner cartridge and then slide the cartridge into the drum unit. Please ensure that the color of the toner cartridge matches the label on the drum unit. After that, you need to hold the toner cartridge handle. Repeat the same step for all the toner cartridges.

Step 15: Put the drum unit back in the machine. 

Step 16: Push the drum unit till it stops and shut the front cover. 

Step 17: Pull out the paper tray from the machine.

Step 18: Take the paper out of the tray. Check the tray and make sure that there is no spilled or excess toner on the paper tray. If there is any spilled toner, then clean it using a dry lint-free cloth. 

Step 19: Once you are done cleaning a paper tray, then install the ream of paper. Reinstall the tray in your machine and make sure it is back in its position. 

Step 20: Reconnect all the wires and telephone line calls. After that, connect the power cord to the AC outlet and then turn on the power switch of your machine.
