How to Fix Color Problems In Samsung ML-2161 Laser Printer?

If Your Samsung ML 2161 Printer is Printing the Wrong Color Then Clean Print Head -

1. First of all, check the position of ink cartridges. Open ink cartridges cover and then confirm that ink cartridges are in proper order. Move to the left side and verify the sequence should be like Black, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta. If the ink cartridges are installed in the correct order then close the ink cartridges cover and proceed to next step.
2. On the other hand, if ink cartridges are not in proper sequence then remove the ink cartridges that are installed at the wrong position and press down the release lever. After this, you have to properly install ink cartridges at the correct position by pushing them gently. Close the ink cartridges cover.
3. Once you close ink cartridge cover, you will see “Did you change color” message. You have to press No from the printer’s LCD. By doing this, you will get accurate data on how much ink is left in ink cartridges.
4. Move to right side of the Touchscreen and press INK button. On the Touchscreen, you have to choose “Test Print”. After this, choose “Print Quality” from the Touchscreen.
5. Then you have to print quality check sheet by pressing Color Start button. Now review the check sheet and confirm the colors on the check sheet are in the specific order. The sequence should be like Black, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta. If the colors are in the proper order then press Yes otherwise press No on the LCD.
6. Now your Samsung printer will perform cleanings to flush out the incorrect colors from the ink tubes. Ink is consumed during the cleaning process. So, you may also require additional ink cartridges.
7. Once the cleaning is completed, you will display “Press Start” message on the LCD screen. Now you have to press Black Start key.
8. At last, print a test document to determine samsung ml 2161 printer is printing appropriately or not.
