How to Fix Paper Jam in Epson Printer?

Hello, Please let me know that how to fix paper jam in Epson printer. When i am trying to print then Epson printer jam the paper while printing. I don't know how to resolve it. Help me.

Fix Epson Paper Jam Inside Issue -

If the paper stuck inside your Epson printer, then these are the steps that you need to carry out to eliminate paper jam issue in Epson printer.

Step 1: Cancel the print job.

Step 2: See if any paper is stuck on the side of the paper feed slot. If yes, then take out the jammed paper from that area.

Step 3: Raise the scanner unit. Don't raise the scanner unit if the document cover is not closed.

Step 1: Cancel the print job.

Step 2: Press the buttons for detaching the rear cover.

Step 3: Check if any paper is jammed in that area, If yes, then remove it.

Step 4: Open the rear cover.

Step 5: Check if any paper is stuck in the duplexer.

Step 6: Attach the duplexer back with the machine.

Step 7: Carry out the instructions appearing on the screen for removing error messages. If this method also doesn’t help you get rid of the paper jam issue, then carry out the steps to remove the pages stuck in ADF.

Fix Epson Paper Jam Issue in Automatic Document Feeder-

To remove jammed paper from Automatic Document Feeder, carry out these steps:

Step 1: Cancel the print job

Step 2: Take out your originals from the automatic document feeder.

Step 3: Lift the ADF cover. Raise this cover before removing the jammed paper or else you may end up damaging the machine.

Step 4: Remove the jammed paper and then close the ADF cover.

Step 5: Put the ADF tray in its original position.

Step 6: Reload the pages

Step 7: Please ensure that you don’t load the sheets beyond the capacity of Automatic Document Feeder. Also, ensure that the pages are not curled, folded, or bent. Additionally, you need to ensure that the sheets don't have any staples, tape or any other material, which can block the feeder.

Step 8: Carry out the commands on your LCD screen for clearing error messages.
