Question

Lexmark Printer Offline on MAC

I have been using the Lexmark 2581 at home and it was working really well for the most part with my Windows 7 based computer. Recently I switched to Mac and tried connecting it to my Lexmark printer but for some reason it does not detect my Lexmark printer. I tried a few things like rebooting and hard reset and making sure that my Mac and Lexmark printer are on same network but nothing helped. Can anyone here tell me how to resolve the issue.
