Take a wet towel and use it to clean the opening area of your ink cartridges. Check if the ink is flowing freely from the opening area. If yes, then reinstall the cartridges in your printer. 

5) Run a Self-Test on Your Printer

Try to print a test page and check if it helps you. To run a self-test, you need to turn on your printer. After that, turn on your printer and then navigate to Settings, Devices and then finally go to Printers and Scanners. Choose your printer and then select the option of Manage, Print a Test page. 

On Mac, launch System Settings and then select the option of Printers and Scanners. Then, you need to select the name of your printer device. There, you need to choose Open Print Queue, select Printer and then finally click on the option of Print Test Page. If the test print produced on your printer is fine but an error is appearing on your PC, then that means there is a software problem that needs to be resolved immediately.
